ComicFury Halloween 2020 Crossover 26th Oct 2020, 9:29 AM
I made a contribution to the annual ComicFury Halloween event. The strips don't start going up until The Day Itself, but the intro cover page can be seen here.

Chapter Names 13th Oct 2020, 6:11 AM
Confession: While I know more or less where all of this is headed, I don't have every last detail worked out. Thus, sometimes chosen chapter titles don't always end being 100% accurate and/or appropriate. So this time, I broke down and changed the just-finished chapter to High Level Meetings, and shifted It All Comes Together to the current installment. I may always do this from now on, giving a temp title and settling on something better later.

MoE Crossover Cameo 02 5th Sep 2020, 8:33 PM
The creator of the Comicfury fantasy strip Breadfinder kindly offered the chance for character cameos, so with the two strips starting here, you can glimpse Sylvester and Mortimer unwillingly caught up in an orgy of banditry and looting. Where's Rosemary when you really need her?

Plugging Along 13th Aug 2020, 9:23 AM
To answer a question from the feedback box, no I'm not planning on ending the comic.. but.. I may have to finally break down and stop updating every single day. But again I'm such a procrastinator that I'm not sure it would make things any better.

Schlock Mercenary 25th Jul 2020, 4:45 PM
Schlock Mercenary, one of my favorite Other Webcomics, wrapped up its run this last week. It's been a long-running (even more than me, still, for now..) space opera following the adventures of the cheerfully sociopathic blob-critter Schlock and his employers, a team of galactic mercenaries. Truth in titling, at least. It's always been funny and had some big interesting ideas about how galactic civilizations might rise, interact and fall. Unfortunately.. it got pretty clear towards the end that after twenty years of daily strips, creator Howard Taylor was burned out and just wanted to get it over with. The story got wrapped up, which is more than most webcomics manage, but said wrapping happened real fast, with a whole lot of detail skipped over. Still, I recommend it if you're lookng for a real long complete sci-fi read, and it will be interesting to see what Mr. Taylor comes up with next, after he's taken a vacation or two.
