A certain milestone. All along I have been posting a varying mixture of new and old strips, the latter originally having been displayed in a very crude archive on my personal website where no one ever read them. When I moved to plusher and better-advertised digs here in Keenspace/Comic Genesis, I rebooted from Strip One, and massively expanded the storyline and character roll as I reposted, replaced and/or filled in. Today's strip is the very last "re-run" from the old days; from here on out, it's all new. So if the drawing quality drops off now, I did have a stroke. Or got even more lazy.

As noted in the comments, on maps the Human nation of Plinth tends to get listed as a "Deep Jungle" state, but in day-to-day reality it is both physically and culturally a part of The Near World/Forests of Kaylu.

Update scheduling 11th Mar 2020, 1:47 AM
Since it has become a topic of discussion in the feedback box, I've changed the Comic Fury settings so the strip (hopefully) once again updates at midnight Pacific time. (CF doesn't account for Daylight Savings Time changes.)

ComicGenesis 25th Jan 2020, 10:12 PM
I may literally be the last and only person still using ComicGenesis to post new webcomics,, and I have absolutely no trust in it staying active. So, to repeat a feedback-box statement, the comics I post there are emergency backups, and I don't do anything else with CG, even strip comments. ComicFury is officially my home now.

Posting comments in Firefox 14th Jan 2020, 12:04 PM
As has been discussed, the newest version of Firefox has officially labelled my comments-box hoster Cbox as a "fingerprinter" and default blocks it. I will consider alternatives, including using Comic Fury's less-than-optimal in-house comment system. For the moment, if you want to comment and are willing to do so, you can turn off the blocker just for "the-comic.org" by clicking on the little shield symbol up there next to the site-address and then on the option button that appears in the resulting pop-up box.
